Palántas' Demo is19 minutes of the most joyous punk. A swirl of titillating drums, deranged riffs, lunatic organ and weird effects. The band started in 2019 at the Kripta community space in Budapest; thus, the D.I.Y. ethos is deeply ingrained in both the band members' lives and music. Their demo tape was published in September of 2022 by Szégyen Kazetták. Palánta's music balances between familiar punk tropes and psychedelic/progressive experimentation. The members come from bands such as Észlelés, Balta, Norms, Unholy Sativa, Power Flower and Piss Crystals (amongst others).
